Our London England tour by Open-Top Bus
London's Original Open-Top Bus Tour.
Effective and enjoyable ways of becoming orientated is to take the Hop On, Hop Off tour buses on the first day. You can spend all day hopping off and on or just stay on. A great way to see the city!

Mmmm... Buckingham Palace, not quite what I expected.
Cheers!

When in Paris stay at the Quality Abaca Messidor Hotel

Travelling to France
Paris has many nicknames, but its most famous is "La Ville-Lumière" (The City of Light)
If you are making plans to visit Paris I would recommend that you stay at the Abaca Messidor.
When in Paris we always stay at the Abaca Messidor, the staff is friendly, rooms are clean, reasonable rates and it is close to the METRO. Last year a visit to Bordeaux, (Wine Show) time was limited and did not get a chance to go to Paris but perhaps soon we will. We have no affiliation with this hotel other than we enjoy staying there and whenever anyone asks we always recommend this jewel of a Hotel in the “city of light”, which is Paris.

1doz Glasses I purchased in Venice from a waiter
Picture of the glasses at the Venice restaurant where I first spotted them. I asked the waiter to sell me 1 doz. Don't know if he had the right to sell them, but that is not for me to say.
We gingerly transported these glasses from Venice and through Europe and they made it home safely. Here is a closer look at some of the glasses which I securely have on the top two shelves of my kitchen cabinet.
